Carbon Filter

Carbon filters are specially designed to eliminate harmful odors and particles from 3D printer chambers. With an activated carbon filter, the filter effectively captures pollutants that are released by the extraction of material such as ABS, ASA and carbon fiber material – material that can otherwise remove harmful VOC gases and odors.

The filter installs easily in the office vent and has a compact design that provides good filtration without affecting airflow. The dense layer of activated carbon is to effectively keep both large and small particles back, which makes for a cleaner and safer indoor air.

It is perfect for both hobbyists and professionals who often write out with demanding material and want to reduce their exposure to harmful substances.

When is the day to change filters?

  • Odor: If you notice an unusual odor on discharge the filter may be clogged and need to be replaced.
  • Application time: Byte filter approximately was 1450
    discharge time, or approximately was the sixth month of regular use.
  • Environment and color: If the filter changes color or if you print in a dull environment it may need to be changed more often.
