The material suits transparent covers, protective screens, containers and functional parts that need to take knocks without becoming brittle. Unlike PLA, PCTG stays tough even in the cold.

PCTG is tougher and handles impacts better than PETG, and it gives clearer transparent prints. PETG is cheaper and is enough for most functional parts. Choose PCTG when the part has to withstand mechanical stress or when you want maximum clarity.
No, it is about the same as PETG. It needs a higher nozzle temperature (240–260 °C) and a heated bed, but it warps little and sticks well. Keep the filament dry for the best surface finish.
